With 100% Italian research and technology, ISTRICE fibers are internationally patented and the result of a project developed in collaboration with the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.
The high quality of the polymers used allows the creation of fibers which maintain their physical and mechanical characteristics unaltered once they are inserted into the concrete, in contrast with other polymers, including PET, PBO or PVA, which are subject to a fall in performance once mixed into the cement casting.
The exclusive design of the fibers permits it to acquire significant resistance to traction and elevated ductility.
It is, therefore, extremely important to highlight the innovative characteristics of the ISTRICE design, since it represents the main ingredient for effective interaction between the mixture and the fiber, facilitating the mechanical meshing of the fiber into the casting with a beneficial increase in adherence.
ISTRICE is used in projects to expand its product range, in collaboration with partner companies in the construction market and important national and international research institutes.
