| ISTRICE No-Cracking ISTRICE No-Cracking is a synthetic fiber with high-density and high-resistance designed and created for concrete reinforcing replacing electro-welded mesh and metal fibres. While studying this product particular attention was paid to the weakness presented by the metal mesh, while reproducing its advantages.
The carefully engineered design enables the fibre to uniformly distribute over the entire cement matrix to support greater tensile loads and eliminate the undesired pull-out phenomenon.
ISTRICE No-Cracking fibres offer an excellent restraining capacity and thereby eliminate the formation of shrinkage cracks, without influencing the workability of the casting.
ISTRICE No-Cracking offer high resistance to acids, moulds and aggressive elements in general; in particular, they are not affected by oxidation.
ISTRICE No-Cracking fibres are particularly suited in the sprayed concrete technology as they do not damage the spraying machines and do not wear pumps and nozzles. In addition, they do not bounce against surfaces, as it happens with metal fibres.
ISTRICE No-Cracking reduce the deterioration of the concrete in the event of fire, since, through melting, they enable the formation of several tiny vesicles in which retained humidity can harmlessly migrate, preventing an increase in internal pressure of the concrete mass. |
